SOMETHING WICKED is a hilarious romp with Desdemona an irreverent cross between Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum and Laurell K. Hamilton's badass Anita Blake, although Desy does admit to being a self-defense virgin. I knew this story was a perfect 10 after reading the first paragraph and confess I finished the book in one night. Written in first person from Desy's point of view, this tale effortlessly incorporates fantasy, suspense, humor, and romance. The sex is hot and raunchy enough to singe your eyeballs, absolutely earning its E-rotic rating. Desdemona is a well-developed character with powers based in sex and war that draw the attention of a whole host of gorgeous men, including Nick, her martial arts instructor/boyfriend Chen, Armand, and oh, don't forget flirty Officer Todd. What's a girl to do with them all? We should all be so lucky! Her mental commentary will have readers laughing out loud from the first page. Armand is one sexy witch. Every description of him will bring drool to your lips and heat to your... well, I'll leave that to your imagination. For a story with a whole lot of humor and spice, pick up a copy of SOMETHING WICKED. It's a Perfect 10.
